Growing up I have had many exposures to video games and computer games. My father and my little brother both got addicted and we saw the consequences. I also believe though that online games and some computer games can in fact help you in education and other purposes. I really enjoyed the lecture about video games and how playing games actually helped the surgeons become better surgeons. Like the apostles say I think great things can come from the media and we need to embrace those and make great use of them.
I think it's amazing how everything can be used for good and bad! We're blessed with so many blessings but if we don't use them correctly, we can abuse them. I think General Authorities do put a stress on this a lot to use media in moderation.
